I signed up for FriendFeed about a month ago and have logged in about 10 times since.
Meanwhile, I log into Twitter either by web or by sms or tinytwitter dozens of times daily.
In the past couple of days I have pleasantly noticed that some of my Tweets get carried on as discussions on FriendFeed -- which is cool. (like the discussion for this very post now going on here thanks to Louis Gray)
But, is there any there there or is it just a bunch of early adopters talking to themselves? The data below would point to not much going on there (yet) from a traffic standpoint -- but that they are starting to grow if last month is any indication.
Don't get me wrong. I think FriendFeed's features rock and I'm wowed by their pace of feature releases and the ease of use of their site. If I had to bet for or against Friend Feed being successful, I'd vote yes. My expectation is that someone (Google or Facebook) will acquire them in the next few months as their features would be best as part of a larger offering vs. independent. Great technology ISO an audience.
Oh, and don't vote against growth like this. Let's see if they can keep it up.
